Yes. 'Tis official: we will be touring in the fall. We are now a "metal band," in that we all have metal parts in our bodies. But we still play oh my god music. And we can't wait to do it this fall. We'll be all over the U.S., Sept. to Nov. Don't look for our red van Doris, she didn't make it. We'll be in some new vessel. We've been recording a couple of new songs and will have 'em out by fall. Sheesh, that was not what we planned. We got smacked up good. Smacked up real good. How smacked up did we get? No van now, lots of busted stuff, and enough broken bones to fill...well, to fill a van, if we had one.

We're gonna be getting together at some point to go over some ideas that have been brewing in our heads during all these months of physical therapy. It'll still be a while 'til we talk about playing any shows. We need to be able to walk and hold sticks and carry stuff (and have stuff) and use our fingers first.  Thanks to all of you for your thousands of messages since our Sept. 21 accident. Thanks to the benefactors of the NY benefit shows. And thanks to our Chicago friends The Detholz, who launched www.saveohmygod.com. Please check that out.  Hope to see you all soon,

We are so sad to report that a terrible, head-on collision in Ohio (someone crossed way over the center line and hit us straight on) has left me typing this with my left hand only, and has forced us to cancel the rest of our fall tour. We have among us serious knee, wrist, back, finger and nose fractures. Everyone in the band is alive, and if you'd witnessed this crash you'd be surprised about that. So we are thankful for that.

Thanks so much to all of you who've already heard and have sent us such warm wishes. We have months of recovery and physical therapy ahead of us. Hopefully we'll see you after that...lots of love,
